The suspect is reported to have beheaded the victim and severed the two hands.
Residents of Elebute, Wasinnmi on Tuesday trooped out when the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Illyasu led journalists to the uncompleted Church located in the inner part of the settlement for an on the spot assessment and to witness the level of damage done.
Tobiloba Ipeisin a clergyman who also doubles as an Accounting/Commerce Teacher revealed that he was forced by one Sopeju and his Occultic group to join their association.
He said that the victim was killed in the process of his initiation as a member of the cult group.
Parading the suspect, Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said the Command was able to arrest the suspect and his accomplice, Daniel Sopeju after it received a report of missing person at the Divisional Headquarters in Ewekoro by one Adebola Saheed who reported that his younger sister, Raliat Sanni left home since March 21 and was yet to return.
A resident of Ewekoro, Ahmed Adegboye who spoke urged the government to ensure that justice was giving to family of the late Rliat.
Angry residents ensured the church was burnt. They also burnt his House.
