"There are two types of pain in life, the pain of discipline and the pain of regrets" - Bishop Oyedepo says at ongoing Baptist Convention

Bishop Oyedepo has emphasized the need for Christians to participate in nation building.

Buttressing the fact that every Christian is redeemed to reign (Romans 5:17), he went on to share on the topic:

Five things to do to actualize your enthronement in life:

​1. Direction:​
finding your place in life is the first step to being a high flyer in life.

Every profession is a high calling, do it with all zeal and zest.

Stay in your God given destiny and you will enjoy His backing.

The people perish where there is no vision.

​2. Education​
Go through trainings, learn your trade and improve yourself.

Nothing empowers like knowledge.
You must know your job and be excellent in it.

Commit to learning.

​3. Self-Discipline:​
You ought to know what is profitable and what is not.

What you do with your time determines where you will find yourself tomorrow.

Time is your most valuable asset. Don't squander your time, invest it.

If Joseph was undisciplined he would have ended his destiny as the chief chef in Portiphar's house.

There are two types of pain in life, the pain of discipline and the pain of regret.

If you despise the pain of discipline then you've chosen the pain of regret.

​4. Hard work​

It is hard work that makes high flyers.

Jesus said, "My meat is to do the will of My Father..."

The anointing is not a substitute for hard work. Jesus was very anointed yet He worked very hard.

Prov 22:29...seest thou a man that is diligent in his work, he shall stand before kings and not mere men.

Things won't work beyond your commitment to work.
Only hard workers get enthroned in their field.

Through idleness a building decays.

1 Corinthians 10:23

​5. Sacrifice​

There is no star without a scar, and the scar of every star is sacrifice.

You can't build a duplex at the cost of a bungalow.

Before Jesus comes, every name that matters on this earth shall emerge from the Church.

People are God's passion. If you are all out to be a blessing to people and make life better for them, you are indeed touching God's heart.

Commitment to the wellbeing of people is a sure path to greatness.
David was a man after God's heart because he stood for what God stood for.

God is no respecter of persons. If you follow His principles you will enjoy His blessings.
