Edo Policemen storms Ekpoma Police Station, begs for herdsmen release

Some Nigerian policemen were sighted at the Ekpoma Police Station, Edo State on Monday morning allegedly begging colleagues to release some arrested herders.
These herdsmen were allegedly arrested with arms.

The alleged officers of the law arrived the station in a white colour Toyota Hiace Bus with plate number FB 878 ABC and, according to the information, admitted to have given the guns to the herdsmen while begging for their release.

The source, though unverified, said the police commissioner, Johnson Babatunde Kokumo has ordered the policemen to return to Benin with the AK47s and herdsmen.
