Man United offer £200,000-a-week deal to seal second signing

Manchester United have offered Alvaro Morata a contract worth £200,000 a week to join them this summer, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
PLURALTRENDS.com understands that the Red Devils have tabled a lucrative deal to try and lure the 24-year-old Spain striker to Old Trafford this summer.

Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent days and has been touted as Manchester United’s top attacking target this summer.

And it appears that the Red Devils are prepared to make Morata one of the highest earners in the Premier League should he secure a transfer to England.

Solhekol tweeted on Thursday night: “Not surprised Alvaro Morata wants to move to Manchester United. £200,000-a-week contract on offer.”

Morata is highly-rated in Spain but found his first-team opportunities limited last season, as he was restricted to just 13 La Liga starts under Zinedine Zidane.

Manchester United have already confirmed the signing of Benfica defender Victor Lindelof as Jose Mourinho sets about bolstering his squad ahead of next season.

The Red Devils are likely to want to bring in a number of other players as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.
