A father was left heartbroken after discovering the son he has raised for 32 years isn’t related to him. Oscar and his son Valentine appeared on Jeremy Kyle after Valentine’s mother said there was a chance Oscar may not be his biological father. In a tense episode of the ITV programme, Jeremy is seen saying to the two men: ‘The DNA test results show that Oscar is not your biological father.’ Oscar went on to Jeremy Kyle with his son Valentine to find out if the pair were related But in the shocking episode, Oscar is seen wailing as he finds out there was a zero per cent chance of the two being father and son Valentine sat quietly once the results were read out, appearing to be speechless Oscar is seen wailing in despair as he says to Jeremy: ‘He’s not my son?’. Jeremy responds by saying: ‘There’s a no per cent chance he’s your son’, while Valentine remains speechless. Later on in the show, Jeremy was seen comforting Oscar by saying: ‘Being a dad isn’t about being blood-related. Dr Gideon Mshelbwala, the Director of Veterinary and Pest Control Services, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development raised
the alert at a meeting with state Commissioners of Agriculture in Abuja on Friday.
According to him, the seven states affected by the outbreak to include:
Bauchi
Kaduna
Kano
Katsina
Nasarawa
Plateau
FCT
Kaduna
Mshelbwala said that the way forward to the containment of the disease was to ban importation of poultry and products, quarantine and bio-security measures, among others.
He also warned poultry farmers against illegal vaccination of birds, saying that it was a deadly alternative to the control of the disease.
