Sunderland goalkeeper, Michael Woud has admitted that he still has a lot to learn even as a goalkeeper.

He added that the Sunderland clash with Reading has made him to learn the hard way as his team finished their Premier League 2 season with defeat at Reading.

Woud was brought into the pitch with a 20 mins played as he replaced the injured James Talbot who collided with Andrija Novakovich. 


Indeed he started well till the half-time but lost it all after George Brady own gosling the 51 mins followed by Josh Barrett converting a penalty just four minutes later. 

Woud revealed when speaking to safc.com that it was an evening when harsh lessons were learned. 

“Our performance wasn’t good enough over 90 minutes and we have to learn from that."

Novakovich scored the third goal on the 64 mins  but Josh Maja and Elliot Embleton restored some pride to the scoreline later.
