Benue state governor increases bounty placed for the capture of notorius kidnapper, Terwase Akwaza aka Ghana, to N10m


Benue State Governor, Mr Samuel Ortom, has increased the bounty for the capture of Terwase Akwaza aka Ghana to 10 million Naira. Terwase, a self confessed kidnapper and terrorist, went into hiding after he was declared wanted for killing one Denen Igbana, the Senior Special Assistant to Benue state governor on Special Security.

According to reports, Denen who led a team that destroyed many terrorist groups in the state, allegedly made a dying declaration that the wanted terrorist was one of his killers. The state governor,
Samuel Ortom had in August last year, placed a N5 million bounty on anyone with useful information that would lead to the arrest of the wanted terrorist.

After waiting for 9 months without any lead, Governor Ortom yesterday increased the bounty to N10 million. He disclosed this when he spoke at an event held in Honour of his retiring deputy supretendent of police, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jimmy Agaku.
